By aeroplane
Via the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in 1 hour by bus.
Via Zurich, Strasbourg, Stuttgart or Frankfurt in 2 to 3 hours by train or car.
From Frankfurt Airport there are fast ICE/IC direct connections to Frei-burg. Then take the tram (see next section).
By train
Freiburg is an ICE station on the Mannheim/Karlsruhe - Basel line and is therefore part of the convenient European railway network. This means that Freiburg can be reached from all directions by fast long-distance trains every hour (e.g. from Frankfurt/Main in approx. 2 hours). Then by tram.
The tram departs from Freiburg main station on the bridge. Take tram line 1 in the direction of Littenweiler to the "Emil-Gött-Straße" stop. Then use the overview on the next page for orientation.
By car
Take the A 5 Karlsruhe-Basel Rhine Valley motorway (exit Freiburg-Mitte), then the B31 towards Donaueschingen;
Attention: turn left directly at the entrance to the tunnel in the direction of Ebnet - Littenweiler - Stadion - Stadthalle.
From the east via the A 81 Lake Constance motorway and the B 31 federal road.
