Vision
We aim to develop innovative solutions that are inspired by and integrated with human biology to:
- enhance performance of healthy humans and athletic populations
- improve the quality of life for people with impaired sensory or motor capabilities
Mission
We work towards bridging basic and applied human research to create unique knowledge that leads to novel rehabilitation and training systems. We strive to pioneer groundbreaking research at the intersection of neuromechanics, neurophysiology, and sports, leveraging cutting-edge technology and interdisciplinary research.
Objective
The group investigates basic neuromuscular mechanism and their functional effects, mediating both acute adjustments (e.g., arousal, muscle fatigue, pain) and chronic adaptations (e.g., aging, training, stroke, rehabilitation), and methods to enhance performance or to restore, replace, and modulate lost or impaired motor functions.
